Marriage Care: strengthening the nation’s relationships

Marriage Care is a national charity that helps couples to build and sustain strong, fulfilling relationships; it is the second-largest provider of relationship counselling services across England and Wales.

Our Brief:

  • To reach supporters and attract a younger volunteer demographic, through Twitter and Facebook
  • To raise the profile of the charity in UK-wide consumer and specialist media
  • To act as the charity’s national press office, filtering and facilitating all media enquiries and developing a UK-wide team of media spokespeople
  • To produce the charity’s Annual Review and other promotional materials – including posters, flyers and pop-up banners

Outcomes:
A long-term relationship enjoying extensive and varied coverage – including a dedicated feature on the work of the charity for The Sunday Programme (BBC Radio 4) as well as articles and comments in The Huffington Post, The Telegraph, Woman’s Own, The Catholic Herald, The Mirror and Premier radio.
